EB1 Green Card – Don’t worry if you only fit one or two categories. We can help you to explore the options and prepare a good case.

In this EB1 Green Card Video Presentation Series we have created a series of videos to give you an overview of the EB1 criteria and the categories that are used to determine eligibility. This video series is designed to give you a summary of the eb-1 category options to help you narrow down which ones you may qualify for. The green card eb1 process can certainly be overwhelming, which is why are here to help. Have a pen and paper handy to take some notes and keep an open mind.

It is important to point out that, unlike many other US green card applications, the EB1 Green Card does not require an employer to sponsor you. You can sponsor yourself based solely on your achievements in a given industry. If you feel that this is a good option for you, we are happy to prepare it for you and get you approved sooner than you may think. Additionally, US Immigration offers a premium processing service through which the government will evaluate and decide your case in fifteen calendar days. We’ll discuss the preparation and filing process in a later presentation. Ok – back to the checklist.

Eligibility for Eb1 Visa:

If you’ve won a major internationally recognized award then this accomplishment alone will be sufficient to qualify for you for an EB1 green card. What constitutes a major internationally recognized award is not specifically defined, since there would be too many such awards to list. However, US Immigration does cite some examples like, the Nobel Prize, an Oscar, Grammy, Tony, Golden Globe, and such like. Each country will have their highly acclaimed awards. If you have won any kind of major award then let us know so we can explore this as a potential option further.

If you’ve not won a major internationally recognized award then you can still qualify, and most of our clients do indeed qualify by being able to satisfy three categories from the following list of ten US Immigration EB1 green card categories.

Major Internationally Recognized Award:

Nobel Prize
Oscar
Grammy
Tony
Golden Globe
Director’s Guild Award
Screen Actors Guild Award

For the purposes of this summary we have slightly re-worded the official US EB1 green card categories into plain English, and to read like a question. When we use the phrase “Could you provide or develop documentation…?” – we’re really asking,

Question.

Do you have the documentation already, or are you in a position to go and develop the documentation.

For example, chase the proof we’d need and/or pursue activities that would enable you in the future to provide the require documentation?’

In other words, it’s a very broad statement to stimulate you into thinking about what you have today and what you might be able to develop over time.

Ok – let’s run through the ten EB1 green card secondary categories (below the primary major internationally recognized award category).

(i) National Award
